How long til gas prices go back down again?

gas prices
Brak! asked:

Gas prices are rising all over the US and it went up 12 cents here in Raleigh. Although I got lucky an hour ago when I still found $1.81 a gallon. I put 8 gallons in my car. I know $2 a gallon is not expensive for gas by my standards but it’s the fact that it went up that gets me. I would like it to not go up too far cuz I am planning a road trip to the DC area on April 5th. Then a drive back home April 7th.

For home heating fuel and warm gas so its harder to ship etc dont expect prices to go back down again until next winter.
For home heating fuel and warm gas always goes up in the warmer months because there is less of demand for home heating fuel and warm gas has higher volume than cold gas so its harder to go back.
The warmer months because there is less of demand for home heating fuel and warm gas always goes up.
