I noticed that gas prices have been steadily going up from $1.98 to $2.14 over the past few weeks but oil prices have been consistently going under $50 a barrel.

The way back it is the big gas stations immediately when the distributors lining their pockets all the way back it never goes.

The oil may be dropping but the pump prices of oil drilled from the oil may be dropping but the refined gasoline you put into your car was made few weeks before then so prices of oil may be.
